A typical day on a guided fishing package with The Scottish Fly Fishing Co. is as follows:
Post-breakfast coffee at riverside
Short safety briefing
River fishing — guide on-hand to provide expert tuition on essential fly fishing casts and techniques most suitable for the conditions on the day
Lunch break at riverside or local restaurant
River fishing — during which you will be shown how to effectively fish through pools and how to fish different techniques and flies, if required
Evening meal for group and accommodation stay
Options are available for quality Scottish food and drink to be provided throughout your fishing trip, these will be supplied from local producers and vendors wherever possible.

Founded by experienced fishing guide Nicol Paton, The Scottish Fly Fishing Co. is based at the historic Maryculter House Hotel which sits on the River Dee, on the outskirts of Aberdeen, Scotland. We own and operate salmon and trout fishing beats throughout north-east Scotland and are a leading provider of fly fishing tuition and fly fishing experiences.
